The cables are designed to provide a telephone extension cable via a structured wiring network. Essentially, the 3Mtr lead is 2 separate 1.5Mtr cables; one is a BT style plug to RJ45 plug, the other a RJ45 plug to BT style socket. Both cables plug into separate RJ45 faceplates using the installed UTP/STP cable to link to each other.
