LevelOne POR-0120, a 1-Port Gigabit PoE Repeater requiring neither configuration nor electrical power, is an innovative transmitter to pass on both data and power extend to another 100 meters. The delivery though one PoE port and one non-PoE port are adequate to extend network devices such as WLAN Access Points, Network Cameras and other appliances with high-speed to the network for greater deployment flexibility.

PoE Compliance
Our device features PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) capability, which carries electrical power along with data in a safe way using Ethernet cabling. Thus providing great cost savings by eliminating the need for additional power cables and outlets. In addition, it enhances flexibility, for instance, you can set up a PoE wireless access point in close proximity where the reception is better.

Easy Deployment
No software installation is required. Ethernet cable, for example the cat5e standard, runs up to 100 meters, but with the installation of a single PoE repeater can increase the distance up to 200 meters. Furthermore, you can triple your range or even more by daisy-chaining multiple PoE repeaters.

Normal cable runs only reach 100 meters, but with POR-0202 installers can extend the PoE network performance up to 200 meters. Furthermore, you can triple your range or even more by daisy-chaining* multiple PoE repeaters.

* Maximum distance depends on the required Wattage of the PD.

Simple yet durable, no software required
As a PoE-Plus Repeater, POR-0202 receives all power from the Power Sending Equipment (PSE), such as a PoE-Plus switch. This means that POR-0202 uses no external power supply, making it the most flexible option for system integrators looking for an easy, affordable solution to increase the distance to the attached devices on a network. POR-0202 has 3 RJ-45 ports for easy deployment, 1 “IN” port that accepts the power and data for the first 100 meters, and 2 “OUT” ports that boosts and extends the power and data an additional 100 meters. With a durable metal housing, POR-0202 fits into any tight deployments.

That's why LONGSPAN has been designed to support the full 200Mbps bandwidth required for reliable 100Base-T Ethernet at up to 840 metres Cat 6 (or 690 metres Cat 5e).
